Last month was the annual Garlic Run. It’s a charity motorcycle ride, attended by about 2,000 bikers from all walks of life. It leaves from Rockaway Mall, Rockaway, NJ. It used to go into Little Italy in NY, but now goes to the Ironbound section of Newark.

It is certainly an experience to see all that chrome glistening in the sun and to hear the roar as they fire their engines to begin the ride. Rts. 80 and 280 are completely shut down along the route to allow them passage.

  1. So much color and action!

  2. Bet that was fun…loving all the colors of the bikes and flags!
